Uganda Cranes gaffer Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has made 3 additions to his squad for the African Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifiers.
The three summoned players are all strikers plying their trade in the United Kingdom including 22 year old Tyrhys Lukonyomoi (AFC Portchester), 29 year old Ibra Ssekajja (Dulwitch Hamlet), and 19 year old Nathan Odonkonyero (Bognor Regis).
According to FUFA spokesperson, Ahmed Hussein the players are to train with club to extend options to Micho and his staff.
Hussein also hinted that if the trio exhibit the right qualities and potential they may earn a berth in the Cranes team squad for the Afcon double header against Algeria and Niger.
Lukonyomoi arrived into the country on Tuesday while the other two players are expected to arrive on Wednesday.
The players entered into residential Camp at Cranes Paradise Hotel, Kisasi on Monday 23 May 2022.
Twenty two of the 33 players summoned by coach Milutin Sredojevic alias Micho took part in the first training sessions at Fast Fusion Indoor Facility and gym , Bugolobi and Kampala Quality playground on Monday.
