Ugandan wonderkid Claus Rebh Benedict Kagimu, son of former SC Villla and URA FC CEO Ivan Kakembo has joined another club in Scotland, United Kingdom.

The 15-year-old is set to continue his development at Glasgow United 07s away from Sons of Struth Football Academy where he spent the greater part of 2022.

The budding forward has received praise from his new coach, Robert Kenney. Kagimu has been lauded for his technical ability and pace on the ball.

“Claus brings technical skills to the football culture here and has adapted to the fast paced nature of the football game in Scotland we also think that with his skills coupled with the pace of the game here can only develop into an excellent footballer,”  Kenney said

Kagimu is a forward who can play centrally and wide, a player known for his agility and his composure on the ball.

The Uganda-born teenager started his footballing journey at Uganda Youth Soccer Academy (UYSA) and has been admired for his goal scoring prowess as he grew through the ranks.
