Kansai Plascon has offered 100million to Buganda Masaka Cup football competition. The event took place at Bulange Gardens on Wednesday 21st 2023.
The event was graced by the Buganda Kingdom Prime Minister Katikiro Owek.Charles Peter Mayiga and the Kansai Plascon’s Marketing manager Daniel Kayongo .
Kayongo was present on a special duty to officially announce the Shs 100,000,000 package to the 2023 Buganda Masaka Cup as well as 50,000,000 for the Buddu Ssaza. Buddu is sponsored by Kansai Plascon. In his speech, Kayongo said;
“Kansai is glad to associate with Buganda Kingdom. We have been painting the Buganda Kingdom and we look forward to continued relations. Sport is a great value ,it employs, United and boosts the name of Uganda internationally. Kansai Plascon has contributed 100Million towards the Masaza cup football tournament and offered 50 million to Buddu for this season.
Kansai Plascon company has joined the other sponsors such as Airtel Uganda, Centenary Bank and UNAIDS for the annual tournament that was revamped in 2004.
The paints company continues its interest in Uganda’s sports. They recently also joined hands with the Uganda Sports Press Association (USPA)
They also sponsor other football clubs like Vipers SC, Arua Hill SC, Uganda Cup Competition,Entebbe Mongers, Rugby Football Club, Uganda Cricket Association.
