URA FC, one of Uganda’s prominent football clubs, is on the verge of securing the services of former Arua Hill captain Rashid Toha. The towering South Sudan international, who recently became a free agent after the expiration of his contract with Arua Hill, has been engaged in advanced talks with URA FC regarding a potential move.

Sources close to the negotiations have revealed that URA FC is keen to strengthen their defensive line, and they see Toha as the perfect addition due to his vast experience and leadership qualities. The towering defender’s exceptional performances for Arua Hill, where he served as captain for two seasons, have caught the attention of URA FC’s management.

During his time at Arua Hill, Toha played an influential role in the team’s success, featuring in 46 league matches and scoring five goals in the previous season alone. His departure from the club adds to the list of players who have left Arua Hill, including Richard Matovu, Rogers Omedwa, Richard Anyama, Isaac Okello, Innocent Maduka, and Bright Joseph Vuni.

Toha, who has previously represented Onduparaka FC and Vipers SC, possesses a wealth of experience in Ugandan football. His arrival at URA FC would significantly strengthen their defensive capabilities and provide valuable leadership on the field.

URA FC has been actively pursuing reinforcements during the transfer window, aiming to build a formidable squad for the upcoming season. While negotiations with Toha are progressing positively, no official announcement has been made by either club regarding the potential transfer.

If the deal goes through, Rashid Toha will undoubtedly bring a wealth of skill and expertise to URA FC’s defense, further enhancing their chances of success in the upcoming football season. Fans eagerly await an official confirmation of the transfer as they anticipate an exciting campaign ahead for their beloved club.
