Uganda Premier League giants, KCCA have acquired the services of Brazilian forward Joao Gabriel Esteves Cardoso.
The South American joins the Kasasiro boys on a two year contract from Brazilian outfit, ADC Cabofriense.
The 21-year-old has featured for Brazil top flight side, Flamengo’s U18 and U20 during his formative years.He also previously featured for Germany’s FCA Darmstadt
Joao Gabriel becomes becomes Sergio Traguil’s first signing at KCCA FC.
After putting pen to paper, the Brazilian said he was “excited to be a part of that growth, and I think African teams will be successful in the years to come.”
“I’ve always been interested in playing in Africa, and I’ve been following KCCA FC for a while now. I’m really impressed with their style of play, and I think I can fit in well with the team. I’m also excited to experience African culture and to play in front of the passionate fans. I want to help KCCA FC win the league title.” he noted.
KCCA is expected to strengthen her squad after releasing several players recently in order to contend for the League title.
