The Entebbe Corporate League which was inaugurated back in 2016 returns today. Over the years the outfit has muscled up to become one of Entebbe Sub-District’s most important events on the sporting calendar.

The sought out event will be headlined by tree planting efforts in a bid to offset climate change.

Following a COVID-19 forced hiatus between 2020-2021, the league returned last year 2022, with 15 corporate brands taking part.

Among the teams participating in this year’s edition include DAS Handling Services, Uganda Civil Aviation Authority, Entebbe Journalists Association, Beeline Medical Services, Uganda Police among others.
The teams will compete in football, volleyball and netball.

In brief remarks, the league President Ronald Onzima said “it is a momentous occasion to see the league return, we hope we can be able to avail more networking opportunities and as well forge new friendships while staying healthy,”

The league provides networking opportunities, a chance to catalyse business deals and furthermore increases brand awareness among a curated audience of sports lovers across Uganda’s first capital.
